Women in Muay Thai Kickboxing.

I  just wanted to take a momentand share some photos and video of the women who make up an important part of Team Boxing Works.

First up is a brief video of Team Members Janet Todd and Ana Marcela Flores being joined by special guest, World Muay Thai Champion Tiffany Van Soest.

Here’s a photo of the co-owners of Torrance Muay Thai gym Boxing Works, Tiky and Tak Sirisute with Muay Thai superstar Buakaw.  The 2 sisters are the youngest siblings of Ajarn Surachai Sirisute, The founder of the Thai Boxing Association of the USA.  They have been involved with Muay Thai pretty much since birth!

Torrance Muay Thai Coach Returns to Ring

Kornpet Petchrachapat, a coach at Torrance Muay Thai gym Boxing Works, returns to the ring next Thursday, December 4.  Kru Kornpet is a native of Thailand, were he competed in nearly 200 professional Muay Thai fights.

Kornpet Returns December 4th!

Kornpet has taught at Boxing Works since 2013, bringing his 20 years of ring experience to the already solid Muay Thai Program at Boxing Works.  Kornpet’s last fight was June of this year, where he defeated the durable Eddie Martinez for the WBC Muay Thai International Challenge Title.  This is Kornpet’s first fight for WCK Muay Thai, and is excited about continuing to fight under the WCK Muay Thai Banner.  The Torrance Muay Thai instructor is one of the Co-main events on WCK’s “Ultimate Conquest” at Tachi Palace in Lemoore, CA.
